Point Zero Acupuncture

At Point Zero Acupuncture, with Dr. Heather Yoo, we are committed to optimizing your health by integrating acupuncture as a vital part of our holistic approach. Acupuncture is a treatment derived from ancient Chinese medicine.

It helps alleviate pain and aid healing. Acupuncture is done by gently inserting thin, sterile needles into specific points on your skin. This stimulates your nervous system to release endorphins from your body, hormones that reduce pain and inflammation. The procedure also enhances blood flow to the injured areas, accelerating healing time. Moreover, acupuncture helps reduce anxiety and stress, fostering a better recovery environment. Integrating acupuncture into your life enhances physical and emotional well-being. Click here to learn more about acupuncture.

Dr. Heather Yoo, DACM, L.Ac

Heather Yoo is a California licensed Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in San
Diego, California. She was inspired by her book club friends who suffered from migraines and
perimenopausal symptoms and decided to pursue further education to become a healer to those

incarcerated individuals, orphans, and third-world countries. She completed pain management
and family medicine internships at UCSD, pediatric internships at Rady’s Children Hospital,

disorders. Prior to entering this path, she was an administrator with 18 years of experience
collaborating with doctors and specialized in revenue cycling, credentialing, insurance contracts,

H. Silva

"I struggled with chronic lower back pain and persistent fatigue, which made me feel resigned to accepting it as normal and losing hope for my previous healthy life. However, everything changed when I met Dr. Heather. She listened to my concerns attentively and wasted no time in providing me with an acupuncture session. It's been almost a year since our first meeting, and I'm grateful for the positive changes her treatment plan, combining acupuncture and herbal medicines, has brought into my life. Now, I wake up feeling more energized each day and no longer spend my days battling fatigue. If you find yourself in a similar situation, grappling with a chronic illness, know that you don't have to face it alone. Heather is here to help. I highly recommend visiting Dr. Heather Yoo."
