Ashley Staley

I was born and raised in San Diego and earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Boise State University. During my time there, I worked as a CNA both in a nursing home and on the Hematology/Oncology floor at St. Luke’s Medical Center, where I developed a strong foundation in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. I later returned to Southern California to complete my Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at California Baptist University. I selected Neurosurgery as my elective rotation and quickly discovered a deep passion for the specialty. Seeking additional training to provide the highest quality care, I pursued and joined this fellowship following graduation.

My journey in healthcare began over 15 years ago as a Certified Nursing Assistant and progressed through roles as an RN in skilled nursing, psychiatric care, and the Emergency Department—where I continue to practice part-time. As an NP, I have gained valuable experience in both wound care and express care settings prior to happily joining the MSK MSO fellowship.
